Join us as we celebrate two historic milestones: the dedication of our new pedestrian bridge and America’s 250th Anniversary.

This special ceremony will officially dedicate the bridge as a lasting symbol of connection, community, and progress while honoring the 250-year legacy of our nation. Community members, visitors, elected officials, and special guests are invited to gather on the bridge for this memorable event.

The ceremony will feature remarks from local and regional leaders, patriotic reflections, and the official dedication of the bridge. A stage will be located at the center of the bridge, with viewing areas available on both sides on the bridge.

Whether you are a longtime resident or visiting for Dixon’s Independence Day celebrations, we invite you to be part of this historic occasion.
