In 2026, Discover Dixon and sponsor Chris Hammitt State Farm are parlaying the Shop Small Saturday drive into a 2-month Holiday Shopping Passport promotion to encourage folks to Shop Local the entire holiday season!

Instead of limiting the festivities to one day, shoppers can now keep earning entries Oct. 15 through Dec. 15.

When a shopper spends at least $10 at a participating location, they will earn a signature on their passport!

Things to note:

• Passports will be provided to each participating business.
• Customers can earn only one signature per business. This helps benefit all local businesses, as we promote shoppers spending at multiple locations!
• Like in recent years, shoppers will get the chance to win prizes totaling $750 in Discover Dixon Dollars

Timeline:

Starting Oct. 15: Shoppers can begin to earn entries at participating locations during the Witches Night Out event! Each participating business will be given passports to distribute to customers.

Nov. 28: Discover Dixon and participating businesses will offer special deals for Shop Small Saturday

Dec. 15: Customers will turn in their passports to the Discover Dixon office, 87 S. Hennepin Ave.

Dec. 17: Winners will be drawn and contacted!
