Last Man Standing- The Last Meadow

The Last Meadow is the inaugural event of the Lifted Nation Endurance Series a faith-fueled, community-centered Last Man Standing (Backyard Ultra) race hosted by Lifted Nation Institute, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
In a Last Man Standing format, every runner completes the same 4.167-mile loop, which begins at the top of each hour. Runners who fail to finish a loop and return to the start corral before the next hour’s gun are eliminated. The race continues until only one runner remains that runner is declared the winner. There is no predetermined finish line. The Last Meadow ends only when one person is left standing.
The event draws inspiration from the backyard ultra discipline pioneered by Lazarus Lake, adapted here with a faith and community mission at its core. Every lap completed lifts a local cause proceeds from The Last Meadow support charitable initiatives in the Dixon, Illinois area.
