Lutheran Social Services of Illinois’s Project LEAD Presents: Drug Takeback Day

Drug Take Back Day is a bi-annual event organized by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications. This initiative aims to prevent drug misuse and reduce the risk of accidental overdoses by removing unneeded medications from homes and communities. This year the official date is October 25th, 2025.

Join Lutheran Social Services of Illinois’s Project LEAD in raising awareness on this important day and come pick-up free items related to Drug Takeback Day. This is an informational table event only; NO medications or other items will be collected at this event.
