The annual Christmas Walk is one of the premier Discover Dixon events, with a 35-year history of bringing holiday cheer to the community! The event begins each year with the annual tree lighting, and features free photos with Santa, horse-drawn wagon rides, carolers, the Dixon Municipal Band, and more! It’s a can’t-miss event for so many in Dixon!
The Dixon Municipal Band under the direction of Jon James will present its annual Christmas Concert on Saturday December 6 at 7:00 PM. The free concert will be held at The Dixon: Historic Theatre. Admission is free, but tickets are available from Theatre (https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/thedixon/6626/event/1417125). Pre-concert entertainment by Saxophonic Sounds will begin at 6:15 PM.
The Dixon Municipal Band performs free concerts for patrons in the city of Dixon, IL and surrounding communities. They consist of high school, college, community, semiprofessional and professional musicians.
